Ingredients
Scale
Chicken
- 2 chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Broth
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp chili sauce
Noodles & Garnish
- 2 packs instant ramen noodles (seasoning discarded)
- 3 stalks green onions (thinly sliced)
- Sesame seeds (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, toss the bite-sized chicken pieces with soy sauce, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper to evenly coat.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and fully cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Make the Broth: Pour chicken broth into the skillet with the cooked chicken. Stir in heavy cream and chili sauce. Bring to a simmer and let it cook gently for 5-7 minutes to blend the flavors and thicken slightly.
- Cook the Noodles: In a separate pot, cook the instant ramen noodles according to package instructions without adding the seasoning packet. Drain and set aside.
- Assemble the Ramen: Divide the cooked noodles between four bowls. Ladle the creamy, spicy chicken broth and chicken mixture over the noodles.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle sliced green onions and sesame seeds on top of each bowl. Serve hot and enjoy your fiery chicken ramen with creamy garlic sauce.
Notes
- For less spice, reduce the chili sauce quantity or omit it altogether.
- You can substitute heavy cream with coconut milk for a dairy-free option.
- Use fresh garlic for more intense flavor instead of pre-minced garlic.
- Adjust salt and pepper according to your taste preferences.
- Adding a soft-boiled egg on top enhances the traditional ramen experience.
